Kade’s Turn – Kathleen Turner #2.5 by Tiffany Snow

Kade Dennon, former FBI agent now hired assassin, hadn’t ever figured that a woman would get under his skin…in his bed, yes but no further.  That was until the day he laid eyes on Kathleen Turner.  The young, innocent-looking, petite blonde walked into the courthouse and instantly caught his attention, too bad he was to later find out that this particular woman was dating his brother.

Putting as much distance between himself and his obsession, Kade has no intention of returning to Indy until he hears those words – “Kathleen’s in danger!”

Set on bodyguard duty, his proximity to Kathleen becomes too much to bear.  Can he restrain himself or will his feelings for her come between him and his brother?

A redo of book two but from Kade’s POV we find what goes on behind the scenes when Kade is ‘doing his thing’.  The deep feelings that run through Kade for Kathleen make me want to wrap him in my arms and take him to bed…quite frankly, if she doesn’t want him, I’ll have him! For someone who is generally very private and closed off, Kade opens up and trusts Kathleen quite quickly, and despite the harsh words that they share there is always that underlying understanding that they will be there for each other when needed. Two lonely souls trying to find some happiness in the world.

As well as reading about Kade’s side of things from when he first saw Kathleen,  we also have a little flash-back and find out a little more about his and Blane’s relationship when Blane came back from deployment.  Life for the brother’s has not been easy but they have always been there for each other and sworn that nothing, certainly not a woman, would come between them.  Will that always be the case?  The only way to find out is to keep reading the saga that is – Kathleen Turner.
