Former SEAL turned attorney, Blane Kirk, lives life for himself. He dates, but never women from work, and he never gets emotionally involved. When Kathleen lands in his lap (literally) he finds himself rethinking his ideas.
Kathleen Turner is young and innocent and also works for him. She is completely off-limits. Or so Blane keeps telling himself.
When Kathleen becomes embroiled in the murder of her neighbour and threats escalate, Blane takes on the role of protector. Can he prevent Kathleen from getting involved in things that she shouldn’t whilst not getting himself involved with her?
I do enjoy alternative POV books. I know that very often they are rehashing the same story that you have already read but if they are written properly they can bring more to the original story. This is definitely true for Blane’s Turn. As the title implies this is a rewrite of the first book – No Turning Back – written from Blane’s POV. We find out a lot of the reasons behind the things that he does and many questions are answered. Tiffany Snow has also, very cleverly, inserted throughout the book sections from Blane and Kade’s past, giving us an understanding of how they met, Blane bringing Kade home, and why there is such a fierce loyalty between the two. This insight also plays an important part in the rest of the series.
Brilliant companion book and most definitely worth reading.
I am a set member of TeamKade but I do love the picture of Blane on the cover of this book.
